Giant Ant is like a boss. They are big, strong and walk very fast. If a Giant Ant aim at you, the only way to escape is digging a hole and entering into it.

Giant Ants can take damage when falling.
 

How to tame:

To tame a Giant Ant you will need to kill a Giant Ant Queen first. It will drop yellow sugar. Give this sugar to a Giant Ant (right click on it holding yellow sugar), and it will be your friend.
 

Running:

Your tamed Giant Ant can run very fast with you mounted it.
 

Healing:

While mounting, attack pigs, chickens and cows. This will heal your spider a little. It is not possible to heal without mounting.
 

Armor:

Yes, armor! You can put armors in your Giant Ant to reduce damage taken.
 

PvP:

If you enable this option in config file, you can use your Giant Ant to attack other players. This can be very exciting when you are in a battle!
 

LostWorld Torches:

LostWorld torches are unusable against this Giant Ant!
 

Killing Giant Ant:

When you kill a Giant Ant, it will drop 2 pieces of sugar, don't expect more than this!
