Desert Spiders spawn only in places with sand blocks. They will hide itself in sand and will stay there until some player pass near its position, so the spider will jump to attack the player, applying slowness effect and covering the player with cobweb. After the attack, the spider will run out and hide itself again, waiting for the next prey.
